In order to add an image to your website you must use the <IMG> tag which needs to have the “src” source attribute that has the full filepath and filename of the image file that you want to display. It’s very important that your file paths and filenames are typed correctly with correct capitalization, or else your image will not display. <IMG> tags do not need closing <IMG> tags. For example, if your html file was saved on your desktop and the TestPhoto.jpeg image file that you would like to display is saved inside a folder called “Images” also on your desktop, a properly formated <IMG> tag would be:
